Founder & Executive Director
Lynn Guillory has
been ministering to Job Seekers since 1992. He was co-developer
of the Career Development and Job Support Ministry at Second
Baptist Church in Houston, Texas. He mentored/coached men who
were Job Seekers through Career Transition Workshop in Dallas,
Texas for several years. In 2000 he founded Employment Transition
Ministry Network (CTM Network) as a 501c(3) non profit parachurch
ministry. In 2005, the ministry was renamed Career Transition
Ministries Newtork. The CTM team has ministered weekly to Job
Seekers at Prestonwood Baptist
Church
since 2000.
Lynn has a B.S. Degree
in Personnel Management/Human Resources from the University
of Louisiana at Lafayette. He attained
his SPHR (Senior Professional in Human Resources) certification
in 1995. He is currently active in the Society for Human
Resource Management (SHRM), Dallas Human Resource Management
Association,
Career Masters Institute, National Resume Writers Association
(NRMA), and other professional organizations. He currently
serves as a Deacon at Prestonwood Baptist Church in Plano,
Texas.
Lynn’s career includes 35 years as a Human
Resources professional and he has worked at the level of Vice
President
since 1992. His Human Resources experience in the energy,
healthcare, oil and gas industry, as well as lumber and building
materials
and his years recruiting from the corporate side has given
him the background for this ministry. But more importantly,
God has used Lynn’s two personal experiences with job
loss to equip and enable him to teach thousands, and work
effectively one on one with hundreds of Job Seekers. He leads
the CTM team
as they minister to Job Seekers weekly at Prestonwood Baptist
Church and leads the CTM team on Saturdays at the invitation
of churches by presenting a workshop called “The Faith
Journey called Job Search.” Lynn has assisted numerous
churches in starting a ministry to Job Seekers and is available
as a key note speaker on several topics.
Today, Lynn serves
as Vice President of Human Resources with Foxworth-Galbraith
Lumber Company, a 103 years old family
owned lumber & building materials firm with revenue of
more than $500 million, with more than 2,300 employees in
four states. |
